Material No. CrNi 1.4581 (V4A)

This cast-steel material is a rust-resistant and acid-resistant austenitic stainless steel. It is also often produced as an investment-casting model. Its final characteristics are defined with the help of a heat treatment process (solution annealing followed by quenching). Material 1.4581 possesses characteristics that are very similar to those of V4A steel, and is thus used in the same fields of application.
